9 Mental Tips for the Golf Course

Golf is as much a mental test as it is a physical one. Here are nine tips to keep your head in the game on the golf course.

Be prepped, loose, and ready to go

We get it. Most folks get to the golf course with little time to spare. While it’s understandable because the daily responsibilities of everyday life (work, kids, etc.) take up a good portion of the day, it’s important to make sure there is no added stress with your game.

Since you probably don’t take notes in your yardage books like the pros do at your local muni, we are talking about something much simpler. Make sure you always have got your sticks along with your shoes, socks, towel, water bottle and whatever else you usually bring to the course ready to go. That peace of mind can go along way in the midst of a hectic day. Plus looking forward to some golf never hurt anybody.

Now the only thing you need to worry about is making contact on the first tee.
