Alligators are one of the most primitive species found on the earth today. They also happen to provide some fascinating entertainment on the golf course, as long as you don’t get too close! Last week, we were treated to this Planet Earth-like scene of a gator following some cranes courtesy of Bill Pruitt at Champions Gate golf course in Orlando, Florida.
According to a Fox 13 in Tampa report, Pruitt said he was about to chip his golf ball onto the green when he first saw the cranes followed by the alligator out of the corner of his eye.
“Holy cow,” Pruitt can be heard saying in the video, followed by, “oh my gosh, it’s amazing!”
That wasn’t the only gator spotted last week. As it turns out TPC Louisiana, which plays host to the Zurich Classic, is home to this three-legged 12-foot alligator affectionately known as “Tripod.”
No matter which team walks away the new Zurich Classic champions, @TPCLouisiana will still belong to Tripod. pic.twitter.com/kULqSjD6nD

As we stated earlier, don’t get too close!
