Attention shoppers, Costco now sells its own golf balls. Let us introduce you to the Kirkland Signature Four-Piece Urethane Cover Golf Ball. If you thought golf was dying, clearly you’ve never bought in bulk.
According to their website, “this four-piece, tour quality ball is encased in a urethane cover, providing a very soft feel, so you won’t have to trade distance for ‘feel’ anymore. The quality construction provides a controlled iron spin, consistent ball flight, excellent green-side control and lasting durability. Kirkland Signature’s speed boosting outer core is engineered to maximize the impact energy transfer for all high and low swing players!”
While we are not exactly sure what a “high and low swing player” is, judging by the 4-piece technology and urethane cover, this appears to be an exact knock-off of the popular Titleist Pro V1X. In case you were wondering, yes, it is on the USGA’s conforming ball list. Why spend $48 for a dozen when you can get two dozen for $30!
As any golfer knows, you can never have too many balls.
