Over this past weekend, TNT’s Inside the NBA crew of Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal hosted the second-annual “Black Masters,” an invite-only golf tournament for celebrities and former athletes.
While the Inside crew were able to get a day out of the studio as the NBA Playoffs moved to network television, the laughs that have earned the show 15 Emmy Awards in recent years were continuing on the course.
Johnson won the event last year, but he was taken down by former Major League Baseball star Gary Sheffield.
The highlight — or more appropriately, lowlight — of the day was brought to us by Barkley and the fantastic NBA on TNT team that captured his new-and-improved hitchless swing, complete with a ball tracer line to show just how poorly Chuck was hitting it.

While Barkley’s swing looks much better than it used to, the results may have somehow gotten worse. He’s now hitting shots further off line than previously, which led him to places like he found himself next to the bridge in the washout area.
