A “severely decomposed” body was discovered on the shore near Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point in the Bronx on Wednesday evening, according to The New York Post. Two children were playing along the East River shore when they spotted the body and called 911.
The corpse was found near the public golf course, which is run by the President’s private company, at around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday night. The body was so badly decomposed that gender and age could not be immediately determined.
The New York Police Department Harbor Unit was called to the scene and security from the Trump property blocked access to the course. The city’s medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
