Playing in the wind is never ideal. There’s enough going on in the golfer’s mind to simply accomplish the task of getting the ball into the hole quickly; adding a stiff breeze to the equation is a recipe for disaster.
We don’t know for sure what was going on in the head of the golfer above, but we can safely say that the wind wasn’t a welcomed addition to his thought process. Anyway, on with the shot. Nice, solid setup, a few waggles and a check of the alignment and… the whiff.
