We’ve all been there: riding passenger in a cart when the driver guns it, makes an unexpected turn or stops short of where you’re expecting to go. What happens next is instinctual. Your body almost involuntarily balances and braces itself to make sure you don’t go flying.
Unfortunately for the man riding shotgun in the above clip, he had a worst case scenario occur. Riding up to the next tee box, all parties seemed to be enjoying themselves when the passenger brought his beverage up to his mouth. Just then, the woman driving the cart decided that they needed to stop right there.
With his brain on those cold suds hitting the back of his throat, the sudden stop sent his body through the front of the cart. Luckily, no one was injured and the detachable windshield released properly. Unluckily (for the passenger), the entire incident was recorded, and now is out for the world to see.
Remember, you can never been too cautious when riding in a cart.
