It’s the most wonderful time of the year, especially if you are a college football fan. The College Football Playoff kicks off today with its two semi-final games and one team, in particular, is getting a “home-course” advantage. Clemson Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney is a member of The Reserve at Lake Keowee, and they’ve transformed their front lawn into a football field, complete with the official Tiger logo painted in the middle.
“We are ‘All In’ once again for the Clemson Tigers!” said David Hurst, The Reserve at Lake Keowee director of sales in a press release.
“For our members who can’t make it out to the Fiesta Bowl, this is our way of bringing the fun to them,” echoed Dave Fleming, General Manager of the club. “It’s no secret we live and work in ‘Tiger country.’ We’re proud of that, as are our members, and we all want Coach Swinney and the players to know that we are cheering them on.”

The Jack Nicklaus design located in Sunset, South Carolina says the field will stay painted through Sunday and is available to members for flag football and other games. This is the second year in a row they’ve converted their lawn into a Clemson-inspired field. Guess it helps to have a decent team!
The action gets underway at 3 p.m on ESPN where #1 Alabama takes on #4 Washington in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. Then, #2 Clemson squares off against #3 Ohio State in the Playstation Fiesta Bowl at 7 p.m EST. Winners will meet in the National Championship on January 9 in Tampa.
