Two-For-One Ball Tracer Special

Golf is a social sport, and we think it’s fun to share golf experiences; the good, the bad, and the ugly. Partnering with our friends at gottaGolf (The Ball Tracer & Social Golf App), SxS is proud to bring you “Golf Fails brought to you by gottaGolf,” a weekly reminder that golf is… really hard.

We’ve all been at the range, working on our game, when the grind of trying to dig it out of the dirt gets a little monotonous. Maybe you try a few one-handed shots, or maybe you go with old faithful, the Happy Gilmore swing. Whatever your cure for the long range session blues is, hopefully, it never ends for you like it did for the guy above.

Undoubtedly tired of working on his swing plane and how square the clubface is to the path on his backswing, this guy decides to go with the home run derby swing at the ball. Without even banging his driver into the mat, the contact of the club head with the ball sends both flying.

Of course, since this bizarre incident was captured on video using gottaGolf, The Ball Tracer & Social Golf App, we get a two-for-one ball tracer of the club head and the ball.
