There are a few things you don’t mess with on a golf course: a ball near a water hazard that is home to an alligator, a shot where tree roots can come into play and this guy.
The camera comes on after our friend in the beige has already been set off. It’s not clear what flipped the switch, but my money is on the old “loosen the cart strap so that his clubs fall off when he drives away” trick. Aside from being a terrible thing to do to a person who has any measure of valuable clubs in their bag, you have to know your audience.
The guy in the blue shorts did not know his audience, and now he’s left with a $400 driver in two pieces.
