Spieth Celebrates Properly, Chugs From Claret Jug

It’s good to be the Champion Golfer of the Year. After winning the Open Championship on Sunday, Jordan Spieth celebrated the proper way by drinking from golf’s oldest major trophy, the Claret Jug.

The now three-time major champion and a few good buddies (Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas, etc.) left England that night and arrived back in Dallas at 5 a.m. Monday where they were greeted with a hero’s welcome from his family and friends.

Spieth’s mom Christine and brother Steven documented the festivities on Instagram:

Something tells us this won’t be the last of his major celebrations.
