Depending on your penchant for animal encounters on the course — we know we can count out Freddie Couples and Tiger Woods on that front — Skukuza Golf Club in South Africa may be a bucket-list destination for you.
Located within Kruger National Park and famously without fences, the golf course, which you can play for the equivalent of $17 for nine holes or $23 for 18, is no stranger to wild animals making their way onto the course, and we’re not talking about birds or even alligators.
Dylan Dethier of Golf.com was tipped off to a recent crazy scene on the course. Club captain Jean Russouw was going his nightly patrol of the course and spotted a leopard walking inside the boundary stakes. As Russouw shined his light on the leopard, it broke into a sprint and not because of the light.
A lion burst into the frame and chased the leopard back into the brush before abandoning the chase.
As it turns out, and perhaps unsurprisingly, sightings such as these are commonplace on the course. Take a few of these other videos of elephants, crocodiles and wild boars captured on the property as evidence.

Nearby Leopard Creek Golf Club, also had a nice treat for golfers as the Latest Sightings – Kruger Facebook account, the same account that posted the lion chasing the leopard, uploaded Wednesday morning a python on the fairway with a cape bushback in its grasp.
Nature is scary.
