We’ve seen people hit golf balls out of other people’s mouths before. John Daly immediately springs to mind. It’s a tried and true example of walking the line between bravery and stupidity. David Feherty had “good television” as his excuse for letting Long John blast a driver off of his teed up mouth and now Feherty’s Golf Channel brother Matt Ginella took the trick to the next level allowing two-time World Long Drive Champion Tim Burke smoke a drive off of his lips.
Ginella told his Morning Drive colleagues that Burke hit the drive out of his mouth 300-plus yards right down the pipe after tricking him into not moving.
