Loudmouth Gear Plays Supporting Role in Weird Al’s ‘Tacky’

If you haven’t heard Pharrell’s song, “Happy,” odds are you’re deaf, live under a rock, or have been incarcerated for the last eight months or so. For the few of you out there, I’ve included it below. If you don’t recognize the song by the title, the first 30 seconds will be enough to jog your memory:

If you’re like me and feel like you’ve heard this song one too many times, you’re in luck. Weird Al Yankovic, the king of the parody, has breathed new life into this already tired hit. The mastermind behind “White and Nerdy,” “Amish Paradise,” “Eat It,” “Gump,” “King of Suede” and “Another One Rides the Bus” has made another splash with “Tacky,” his new parody of the Pharrell hit. The video includes appearances by Eric Stonestreet, Jack Black, Aisha Tyler and Loudmouth Golf. As you’d expect from Weird Al, it’s pretty funny:

I don’t know that Loudmouth apparel could be considered tacky, but the activities Weird Al discussed certainly would be. Maybe if you wore them to work everyday and did the whole suit thing, you’d be tacky. But on the golf course? The clothes are the perfect wardrobe choice to stick out and still be stylish. I mean, do you want to tell John Daly he’s tacky? Me neither.

Loudmouth got into the fun, tweeting this photo of the video’s stars, wondering if you could name all the Loudmouth pieces featured:

If you liked what you saw, you can visit loudmouth.com to get your hands on your own “tacky” apparel.
