Move over Dave Pelz and Kevin Harvick, you have company. Mark Wahlberg is about to add “short game guru” to his already-robust Wikipedia page description, which includes actor, producer, businessman, former model and rapper.
We know Wahlberg is a certified golf nut. How do we know? The evidence: he owns a home that buts up to famed Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles; he’s a mainstay in pro-ams and celebrity events; and he’s incorporated golf into many of the shows he produces and stars in. So, it’s fair to say that Wahlberg has been bitten by the golf bug.
Our latest indicator he’s eaten up? The backyard he recently had renovated to incorporate what looks to be a patio tee box, full green and two bunkers.
Looks like Wahlberg will be ready to go in a few months when the AT&T National Pebble Beach Pro-Am rolls around.
We officially welcome Wahlberg into our pantheon of great golf backyards.
