Mini Golf Open: It’s Kind Of A Big Deal

A round of mini golf with caddies, a gallery, and the claret jug as a prize — I give you, the Mini Golf Open. The team at Improv Everywhere transformed an average day of mini golf into the Open Championship. The unsuspecting players at Pier 25 in Manhattan were surprised with a full major championship setup in the middle of their round.

Complete with commentators and an ESPN camera crew, these random mini golfers were in for the round of their lives. If only every mini golf round was like this:

For a second, I thought I was really watching a major championship.

Isaac was the clutch-kid of the day, making a putt on the final hole to win the claret jug. It’s not every day you get a chance to do that, and he capitalized on the huge opportunity. He absolutely nailed the post-round interview as well, dedicating the win to his caddie.
