The NFL playoffs kick off this weekend with a full slate of Wild Card games, so naturally, we have a golf-related NFL story for you! This past week, Pittsburgh Steelers star quarterback Ben Rothlisberger was a guest on the Dan Patrick Show and was asked if he’d raise his kids to play football. Given the two-time Super Bowl champ’s laundry list of injuries and the ongoing safety concerns of one of the most violent games out there today, he crafted his response carefully.
“I will encourage my kids to do whatever they want to do and love to do, and help them with whatever it is,” Roethlisberger said. “Hopefully it’s golf, though.”
