Parsons Xtreme Golf — or PXG as it’s more commonly known — has knocked the golf equipment industry on its ear. With the backing of Dr. Bob Parsons, PXG has made some of the best equipment to ever hit the golf market. The only drawback to this superior equipment is its superior cost.
Parsons hasn’t shied away from the fact that he’s targeting a small piece of an admittedly small demographic, namely those for whom price is not an object. And the GoDaddy founder’s latest brainchild presumably narrows that small piece of a small demographic to an even smaller population, offering a custom fitting experience that starts at $16,000 and can go up to $99,000.
That little three-day jaunt is the baseline of what PXG is offering. Depending on accomodations, those packages start at $16,000 or $18,000 and go up. But the grand daddy of them all is the “Ultimate PXG Xperience,” which is a four-day, two-person getaway that features all of the $16k perks, plus some one-on-one time with Parsons.
Seems reasonable. Take out a second mortgage and get your golf game dialed in.
