Rory McIlroy’s childhood home is for sale in Holywood, Northern Ireland and it’s no wonder that the 4-time major champion grew up to be the champion golfer that he’s become.
The 4-bedroom home is less than a mile from Holywood Golf Club where McIlroy would hone his game as a youth. However, should McIlroy not have wanted to traverse the 0.8 miles down Abbey Ring, he had a full-scale golfer’s dream waiting in his garage or in his yard.
The property features a gigantic artificial green outside the front door as well as a garage that has been turned into a full swing studio.
Of course, if there was some bad weather outside and there was short-game work to be done, young Rory always seemed to find a way.
The asking price for the property is £239,950, or just over $318,000, according to PropertyNews.com
