Did you ever wonder what was on Tiger Woods’ mind in the mid-2000s after he was won all of those majors? (Don’t be cheeky about it.) Former Golf Channel and current ESPN anchor Scott Van Pelt often got a unique perspective of the major champions of the first decade of the new millennium.
Fresh off of the trophy ceremony and being pulled in every direction, Van Pelt and his crew were tasked with speaking to the winner for SportsCenter’s Sunday Conversation segment. Now, we’ve hear Tiger talk post-round ad nauseum about how hungry he is after a good round — it seems like every interview ends with, “well, first, I’m going to go get something to eat.” — but who knew an intrepid SportsCenter reporter would deliver on Woods’ wish?
And Tiger doesn’t eat the crust? That explains why he needed lasik surgery.
