The GOLFZON Tour is revolutionizing golf with a dynamic indoor simulator competition that pits teams from across North America, Europe, and beyond against one another.
Combining cutting-edge technology and intense competition, this tournament offers players a chance to shine in a professional-style league. Here’s everything you need to know about the GOLFZON Tour.
What is the GOLFZON Tour?
The GOLFZON Tour is an indoor golf tournament where 12 regional teams compete for a grand prize of $150,000. Using GOLFZON’s advanced TwoVision simulators, players from cities around the globe can battle it out without leaving their local facilities. Teams represent locations across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the UK, fostering an international spirit of competition.
How the GOLFZON Tour Works
Seeding Matches
The 12 teams began with round-robin seeding matches, where three players from each team competed in stroke play. Points were awarded for wins, ties, or losses, with seeding tiebreakers determined by total team scores.
Bracket Play
The top two teams from each division earned byes in the single-elimination bracket. Matches featured head-to-head play, where teams’ simulators link in real-time. Scores were aggregated per hole, and the lowest two scores determined the winner.
The Final Showdown
The championship match will take place at the 2025 PGA Show in Orlando. Teams of five will play a match-play format, with sudden-death stroke play tiebreakers if needed.
Who Can Play?
The inaugural season features teams formed through open qualifiers. Players must be 18 or older and can be amateurs or professionals. Qualifiers received a $1,000 stipend to cover travel expenses. Future seasons aim to expand participation opportunities.
