For over 15 years, Dennis Silvers has been the voice of Las Vegas golf talk radio. He has built a loyal following and created friendships with some of the top golf professionals in the industry and from all around the world.
Known as the “Golf Guru of Las Vegas,” Dennis remains Nevada’s first and only golf talk radio and television show host. Dennis is a nationally syndicated golf talk show host. He has been the host of The 19th Hole weekend Edition that aired on CBS Sports radio for two decades. Prior to CBS Sports Radio, Dennis was heard on ESPN and Fox Sports in Las Vegas.
He has been a substitute host on SiriusXM Radio and has also done commentary for the Shriners Hospitals for Children Tour event in Las Vegas on the PGA Tour Network.
Dennis is widely regarded as one of the best public speakers in Southern Nevada. He is a regular Master of Ceremonies at numerous golf charity events and at PGA chapter events. He has been recognized by numerous organizations for his contributions to the game of golf through his show and individual efforts.
Also known as the “Voice of Golf” in Southern Nevada, Dennis also is a regular contributor to “Sports Night in Las Vegas” that airs every week on KSNV-NBC Channel 3 in Las Vegas. Dennis was the very first person in the history of the state of Nevada to host his own television golf program on cable TV, for which he won “Best Show of It’s Kind” by the Community Broadcasters Association.
He has appeared as a featured speaker at both PGA shows ( Orlando & Las Vegas) and has spoken at numerous other golf organizations. Dennis is also a contributing editor of The “A” Position which is part of the Golf Media Network. Dennis also writes for select websites, giving his options and insights into the state of the game.
