The PGA Tour will be at East Lake Golf Club in Georgia this week for the Tour Championship. In honor of the event, we decided to give a breakdown of our top 10 golf courses in The Peach State.
Ocean Forest Golf Club
Opening in 1995, this lush course was co-designed by Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead. The last few holes run downward towards the Atlantic Ocean, with a few of the earlier holes playing alongside the Hampton River. This course was host to a famous Walker Cup match in 2001, when the combined team of Great Britain and Ireland took it to the Americans with a 15-9 victory. (http://www.oceanforestmembers.com/home)
