If there’s one thing golfers can all agree on, it’s that lip outs are the worst. There is nothing more frustrating than hitting a perfect putt only to see it catch a piece of the hole and not drop. Unfortunately, they’re part of the game and nobody is safe from them, not even for the pros. Here’s our list of 10 of the most terrible lip outs out there on all levels.
10. Jason Day
Jason Day suffered this brutal lip out during the 2015 Zurich Classic. The putt was tracking the entire way, however the issue was that he struck with a little more pace than required. While it’s unfortunate the putt didn’t drop, he’s lucky he hit the back of the hole to slow that baby down.
