Matthew Fitzpatrick picked up his fourth career European Tour win at the Omega European Masters on Sunday at Golf-Club Crans-sur-Sierre in Switzerland in a playoff. Only five players in the history of the European Tour were younger than the 23-year-old Englishman to win four events which includes the great Seve Ballesteros, Jose Maria Olazabal and Sergio Garcia. Don’t let his boyish good looks fool you…he’s cold-blooded.
Allow us to introduce you to his American girlfriend, Lydia Cassada. The two met at Northwestern during Fitzpatrick’s only semester there before turning pro. Lydia, a Georgia native, was a member of the lacrosse team in college and graduated this year.
We expect to see more Ws from this couple in the near future…in the meantime, say hello to Lydia!
