While the PGA Tour is chasing the sun in Phoenix, Arizona at the Waste Management Open, much of the Midwest and Northeast are suffering through a polar vortex.
PGA Tour Champions pro Jerry Kelly usually has the luxury of playing his golf in comfortable temperatures, but while he’s home this week in Wisconsin, he’s having no such luck.
With windchill temperatures hovering around -50°, Kelly took the opportunity to share a video with his thousands of social media followers of him practicing in the frigid temperatures.
Had to swing in -45 chill. Rather cold:) pic.twitter.com/pTU6z5AY8T

While it may be cold for Kelly now, he will be back in the sun’s good graces next week as the Champions Tour heads to Boca Raton, Florida for the Oasis Championship.
