Last year’s Quicken Loans was won by Hurley, a local resident and former Naval officer, which carries extra weight as the Quicken Loans makes a special effort to incorporate the men and women of the armed forces in the tournament throughout the week. Hurley defeated Vijay Singh by three shots and Bill Haas and Jon Rahm by four strokes to earn his first PGA Tour win.
