PGA Tour player John Peterson decided to switch things up Sunday on the 1st tee at the CIMB Classic. What a lot of people do at the driving range, Peterson did during an official round on the PGA Tour: tee off with a Happy Gilmore swing.
Let it be known if you Gilmore it off the first on Sunday you shoot 6 under. @drewsteckel pic.twitter.com/eFjaVxWdVe

One can only hope that this will now be a trend among other PGA Tour players, even if it’s just during a practice round. We should also note that Peterson opened up the tournament with an 80, which led to him being stuck in last place from start to finish.
Man. Gonna be tough to win the tournament now

Rock on, John.
