Welcome to June and the official start of the summer season. The next four moths feature three major championships, golf’s return to the Olympics, the FedEx Cup Playoffs and the Ryder Cup. Buckle up, it’s about to get real.
Kicking off the summer of golf is Jack Nicklaus’ Memorial Tournament played a Muirfield Village. Given the weight the Golden Bear’s name still pulls, it’s no surprise that one of the best fields of the season is teeing it up this week in Dublin. Jason Day, Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy are all in attendance, as are six of the top-10 and 30 of the top-50 in the world.
