Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks?
Steve Stricker, like most us, is still searching for that one swing tip or thought that will change everything even at 49 years old and with more than $43 million in career earnings. So, when you’re a borderline Hall of Famer yourself and you’re trying to tighten up your short game, who do you go to?
Hall of Famer and wedge aficionado Phil Mickelson, of course. The two wily vets met up on the short game practice area at Castle Stuart, site of this week’s Scottish Open to work on Stricker’s chipping game.

Man, it would be nice to be able to call Phil over and get a free short game lesson.
