SwingU, the golf technology and media company, announced today that Paul Ramee Jr., PGA Professional and Director of Golf at Bull’s Bridge Golf Club in South Kent, CT, has partnered with SwingU Academies to launch his instruction & training app.
Paul is the Director of Golf and Club Manager at Bull’s Bridge Golf Club in South Kent, CT and the Lead Coach at the Golf Channel Academy at Golf on the Green. A teacher for more than 25 years, Paul has twice been recognized as one of Golf Digest’s “Best Teachers” in the state of Connecticut, most recently placing third on the list for 2017-’18, and in 2016 was named the Connecticut PGA Section Teacher of the Year. Before joining Bull’s Bridge, he served as an Assistant Golf Professional at Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit, NJ and the famed Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, PA.
“To have one place where my students can go to enhance both their learning and improvement has been something I have been seeking for a while,” said Ramee. “Partnering with SwingU allows me to provide my students with anywhere access to me and my video content which will help them improve immediately.”
Ramee’s instruction & training app will provide his students with an engaging, academy-like experience, including a student- and staff-generated content feed; a student swing locker for filming & saving swings; a VOD library of drills & lessons; and 1-on-1 communication, allowing for swing analysis, prescriptive drills and regular touch points. Due to the integration of
SwingU’s top-rated GPS & scorecard app, Paul will be able to immediately analyze students’ rounds, stats and on-the-course performance when students use SwingU on the course.
Ramee received his Class A Certification from the PGA of America in 1996, and in 2013 was named the Horton Smith Award winner by the Connecticut PGA Section in special recognition for his outstanding contributions to Golf Professional education. A SAM PuttLab Certified Instructor and TPI Level I Certified Professional, Paul’s special areas of interest include year-long coaching plans and long-term athletic development.
