SwingU Academies Client Brenndan Cooper Wins 2021 Midwest PGA Teacher Of The Year, Player Development Awards

SwingU, the golf technology and media company, would like to congratulate SwingU Academies client Brenndan Cooper for being recognized by the PGA of America as the 2021 Midwest PGA Teacher & Coach of the Year and the recipient of the Midwest PGA Player Development Award.

Brendan has been recognized by Golf Digest as one of the Best Young Teachers in America as well as one of the Best Teachers in Missouri. Brenndan has had the opportunity to coach players on the PGA Tour, Champions Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, LPGA Tour, Symetra Tour and other mini-tours.

For the second time in his career, Brenndan was named the Midwest PGA Teacher & Coach of the Year. Winning the award for the first time in 2016, the award is based on the PGA Professional’s overall performance in teaching. It includes unusual, innovative and special teaching programs the honoree has initiated or played a key role in implementing, articles published in books and magazines as well as outstanding golfers the PGA Professional has instructed.

Brenndan was also named the Midwest PGA Player Development Award recipient, which is given to a leading PGA Professional for extraordinary and exemplary contributions and achievements in the area of Player Development. The award considers a PGA Professional’s growth of the game leadership commitment at the Section and National levels, and the impact at the members’ own facility.

Through his Brenndan Cooper Golf app, built in partnership with SwingU Academies, Brenndan provides students with an engaging, academy-like experience, including a content forum where both students and Brenndan share video, stories and interact on everything in golf; a student swing locker for filming & saving swings; a VOD library of drills & lessons; and 1-on-1 streamlined personal communication and lesson booking directly from the app.
