SwingU, the golf technology and media company, announced today that Rogers State University and head women’s coach Whitney Hocutt have partnered with SwingU Coach to deliver advanced statistical reporting to her coaching staff and team members.
Located in Claremore, Oklahoma, Rogers State University is a public university and member of NCAA Division II, competing in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association.
Hocutt is in her seventh season as the head women’s golf coach for her alma mater. Under Hocutt’s direction, the Hillcats have set program and individual records over the last four seasons. The Hillcats continued to set new standards in 2021-22, with Hocutt leading RSU back to the NCAA National Championships for the second straight year. In the spring of 2023, RSU competed in their third straight NCAA Central Regional in South Dakota.
So far in 2023, Hocutt led the team to a win at the 8th Annual Hillcat Classic and a second-place finish at the MIAA Championships. This fall, the team set a new record, shooting a 4-under par team score in the third round of the DII Golfweek Fall Invitational in Sandestin, FL. en route to a second-place finish.
