SwingU Promotes Calli Ringsby To Head Of Product

SwingU, the golf technology and media company, announced today the elevation of Calli Ringsby to Head of Product. Ringsby has been a Senior Project Manager at SwingU since July 2022.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to lead SwingU’s product team as we take our industry-leading app into the next phase of development,” said Ringsby. “Our team is skilled in a range of technologies and collaborates closely to create cutting-edge solutions. This diversity and teamwork are critical to our success in delivering outstanding products to our customers.

Ringsby, a Stanford graduate, where she was a member of the national championship-winning women’s golf team, is passionate about empowering women in technology. She leads an all-female product team and works in tandem with SwingU’s iOS Team Lead, Kristin Harkness, who has been on the cutting edge of mobile software development for nearly two decades.

“Calli’s unique background, subject matter expertise, and drive for excellence has set the tone for our team’s innovative and high-quality work, “ said SwingU CEO Charles Cox. “We’re proud of the work Calli has already done and excited to continue to innovate under her leadership.”

Ringsby brought experience as a Product Manager at both Blissen and Homebot to SwingU. During her tenure at the company, Ringsby has led massive changes and improvements in the app’s user interface and user experience while also spearheading initiatives to make data-backed decisions through customer input and behavior.

Ringsby has an extensive and impressive background in golf. The top junior in the state of Colorado, she won the 2012 Colorado Women’s Golf Association (CWGA) Junior Amateur Match Play Championship, the 2012 CWGA Junior Amateur Stroke Play Championship, the 2013 5A Individual State Championship and the 2013 Colorado Player of the Year award. She was a two-time regional champion and a four-time all-state selection at Cherry Creek High School before earning an athletic scholarship to Stanford University.

While at Stanford, Ringsby studied Management Science & Engineering and was a member of the 2015 NCAA National Championship team. The Cardinal were NCAA Championship runners-up in 2016 and semi-finalists in both 2017 and 2018.
