SwingU Ambassador Graysen Huff Wins For Second Time This Summer At Valdosta Classic

SwingU, the sports technology and media company, would like to congratulate SwingU Tour Ambassador Graysen Huff on his playoff victory at the Rolling Red Tour Valdosta Classic at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club in Valdosta, Ga.

Huff, a second-year pro out of the University of Auburn who started using SwingU in November 2021 to track his stats and guide his practice sessions, shot a two-round total of 10-under par 134 to claim his second professional victory.

Huff fired a second-round 8-under par 64 to earn a spot in a three-man playoff, which he won on the third playoff hole.

“I had been playing really well on (PGA Tour Latinoamerica), I made 8 of 12 cuts and didn’t finish worse than 38th, but I just didn’t have that good week where everything came together,” Huff said. “I knew I had been playing really good golf, but that hadn’t really bounced into the scores yet.

“That’s what happened at Valdosta. I shot 2-under the first day, and then the next day I shot bogey-free 8-under 64. It was good to see the game trending in the right direction and post a good score.”

Over 36 holes, Huff leaned on stellar ball-striking to lead him to victory. He picked up +6.6 strokes gained vs. par off the tee and another +8.6 strokes gained: approach. Huff made 11 birdies against just one bogey over the course of the event.

“SwingU has been great for me,” Huff said. “I watch trends in my game and SwingU is a great platform for that because it shows me how I’ve been playing this month vs. overall, and I can just follow the data.

“Coming into (Valdosta), I could see I hadn’t been hitting a lot of greens and I had to chip a bunch. In the second round, I hit 16 of 18 greens and shot 64, so SwingU was great for that, which led me to take a few more conservative lines and hit more greens.”
