Sutton is a Golf Magazine Top-100 PGA Teaching Professional and ranked #1 in North Carolina by Golf Digest. Nicknamed “The Golf Guru” early in his career, Sutton has been teaching and coaching golf for 26 years, including 12 years at The Dana Rader Golf School (now the Ballantyne Golf Academy), which is consistently rated among the Top-25 Golf Schools in America by Golf Magazine. Sutton is currently the Director of Instruction at the prestigious Carmel Country Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. In addition, his podcast, “The Golf Guru Show,” invites top teachers and coaches to share their lessons in success across golf, life and personal development.
