Co-founded by Hardy and O’Connell, The Plane Truth was designed to bring Hardy’s 40 years of expertise to help amateur golfers improve through one-on-one lessons with Plane Truth Certified Instructors and Plane Truth Golf Schools; continue to grow the Plane Truth Certified Instructor family; and elevate the golf games of dozens of players across the world’s major professional tours. They also have produced several best-selling instructional books and video series, including most recently The Release: Golf’s Moment of Truth.
For $99.99 per month or $799.99 per year, the Plane Truth Golf app will provide students with an engaging, academy-like experience, including an academy forum where both students and the Plane Truth instructors will share video, stories and interact on everything in golf; a student swing locker for filming & saving swings; a VOD library of hundreds of drills & lessons from Hardy and O’Connell; and one personalized lesson per month with a Plane Truth instructor, including swing analysis, prescriptive drills and regular touchpoints. Due to the integration of SwingU’s top-rated GPS & scorecard app, Hardy, O’Connell and the Plane Truth certified instructors will be able to analyze students’ rounds, stats and on-the-course performance when students use SwingU on the course.
Believed by many to be the most influential teacher in golf today, Hardy is ranked in the top 10 on Golf Digest’s list of “America’s 50 Greatest Teachers” and ranked in the “Top 100 Teachers” list of Golf Magazine. He was voted PGA National Teacher of the Year in 2007; inducted into the Texas Golf Hall of Fame in 2011; and inducted into the prestigious World Golf Teachers Hall of Fame in 2015.
