SwingU is proud to announce that the base version of the app has added two incredible features to its free offering: shot tracking and side games.
Shot Tracking
Shot Tracking takes advantage of SwingU’s super-accurate GPS technology and tracking system, which allows you to select the club you’re hitting and see how far each club in your bag goes so that you can make better decisions over the course of a round, a season and a lifetime.
To track a shot, you must first input your club make-up into the Profile section of the app. Once you’ve added each club to your bag, you can select which club you are hitting at any given point, and track the shot to see the true distance you hit it.
The more shots you track, the more accurately and confidently you can pull the right club based on the distance of the shot.
Side Games
Golf is always more interesting when there’s a little something on the line, so we’re excited to help our users spice things up with Side Games on the course. Featuring five fun options, you can keep track of your score and your game right there inside the SwingU app.
The following formats and games are available:
- Stroke Play
- Skins
- Stableford
- Match Play
- Nassau
From the Play Golf tab on your SwingU app, select Scorecard from the Round Settings and pick which Side Game you’d like to play.
