A foursome watched as a lone player hit up short of the green they were on. The group finished the hole and chalked up the behavior as a well-executed recovery shot.
As they prepared to tee off at the next hole, the group watched the lone player quickly chip on and putt out. He almost ran to the tee where the foursome was still standing.
The single looked at the bewildered players and said, “Good afternoon, boys. Would you mind if I play through? I’ve just heard that my wife has had a terrible accident.”
