A poor golfer took a caddie out for a round of golf. Predictably, things went badly for the player.
He was 26-over par after the eighth hole, had landed a fleet of golf balls in the water hazard and dug himself into a trench fighting his way out of the rough.
On the ninth green, the caddie coughed during the duffer’s backstroke on a 12-inch putt. The golfer exploded.
“You’ve got to be the worst caddie in the world!” he screamed.
“I doubt it,” replied the caddie. “That would be too much of a coincidence.”
