Joke Of The Day
Three elderly golfers — Ralph, Bob and Jim — were playing a particularly intense match one Saturday morning. On the 11th tee, a par-4 that has out of bounds to the right and a road that runs alongside it, the golfers saw a funeral procession led by a hearse and followed by a long line of cars heading to the graveyard.
Ralph suggested to the others, “Why don’t we pause a moment and show some respect for the dead.”
The threesome removed their caps and stood in silence as car after car went by.
Finally, after what seemed like 10 minutes, Ralph remarked, “There sure were a lot of cars. That person must have been very loved.”
Bob replied as he put his tee in the ground, “Yes, she was. We would have been married 55 years tomorrow.”
