Joke Of The Day
A man went out for a round of golf by himself, and in order to spice things up, brought along a bottle of booze to sip on.
Every time the golfer hit a bad shot, which was few and far between, he took a swig of the nice single malt he brought along. Playing a tremendous round, the player became engulfed in his routine and didn’t realize until a few holes later that he had left his bottle of liquor on a prior tee box.
Figuring since he was playing at an upstanding club, he would simply have the bottle returned to him after his round. Little did he know that there was a player truly struggling with his game playing behind him.
When the second golfer came about the bottle, he thought to himself that it couldn’t make his game any worse if he took a pull or two. He ended up polishing off the entire bottle.
A few hours later, both golfers had finished their rounds when the man who brought the bottle approached the clubhouse.
“Excuse me,” the man said to the clubhouse attendant. “I left my bottle of Scotch out on one of the tee boxes towards the end of the front nine. Has anything been handed in at lost-and-found?”
“Why, yes,” the attendant responded. “But it was just the golfer who played after you, sir.”
