2017 FedEx Cup Payout Breakdown

Everyone knows that PGA Tour professionals play for the big bucks, but what’s at stake this week during the Tour Championship at East Like is astronomical.

With the FedEx Cup on the line, players aren’t just playing for an $8.8 million purse with $1.56 million going to the winner. Additionally, over $25 million in bonus prize money will be doled out on Sunday, with the winner of the season-long chase getting a whopping $10 million!

Per standard procedure, points have been reset for the top-30 players this week to give any player the ability to win the whole thing. While it’s unlikely Jason Dufner in the 30th spot will be able to make up that much ground, it is possible, but he needs some major help.

However, those players in the top five control their own destiny. A win this week means the biggest payday in the game.

Jordan Spieth is the current leader looking to win his second title in three years. After him, it’s good buddy and POY candidate Justin Thomas, followed by current World No.1 Dustin Johnson, Marc Leishman, and Jon Rahm.
