Alligator Eats Snake At Zurich Classic Of New Orleans

Some PGA Tour stops are just more interesting than others.

This week at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, the wildlife scattered around TPC Louisiana has made for some eye-catching B-roll for the broadcasters.

Inundated with alligators, snakes, birds and everything in between, players, fans and media alike better mind their step when traversing around the golf course this week.

Case in point: this video captured by the PGA Tour’s social media accounts on Thursday in which a gator devours a snake just outside one of the many water hazards penalty areas scattered around TPC Louisiana.

That encounter was far from the only example, however. During Thursday’s rain delay, a curious gator checked out one of the PGA Tour’s (not-so) hidden cameras by swimming up to it and investigating it as a possible meal.

And on Friday, Si Woo Kim had to hit an approach shot while a huge gator sunned himself only feet away.

Golf is different in New Orleans.
