Augusta National Looks Ready For The Masters In These Aerial Photos

The first round of the 2022 Masters is only 20 days away… but who’s counting?

The folks down at Augusta National Golf Club are certainly ready for the first “normal” Masters since 2019, and the course is setting up similarly.

After a few enhancements during the offseason, the fine folks at Eureka Earth, an Augusta-based startup that mounts an 8-pound camera and sensor “pod” to small planes, shared some recent shots of Augusta National a few weeks out from the tournament.

The trademark green grass pops off the screen and the traditional grandstands are set up and ready to host a full complement of patrons for the first time in two years.

Before the Masters gets underway, however, ANGC will host the third installment of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur on April 2 and the Drive, Chip and Putt Finals on April 3.
