Scott Piercy and Billy Horschel posted a final-round 5-under 67 to capture the 2018 Zurich Classic by one shot over the team of Jason Dufner and Pat Perez.
Piercy and Horschel finished their fourth day at TPC Louisiana bogey-free with five birdies, including a run of three gains around the turn (Nos. 7, 10, and 11) en route to a four-day score of 22-under par.
To the victors go the spoils. 400 #FedExCup points each for the @Zurich_Classic champs resulted in some BIG moves in the standings. ?

“It was great to play with Scott. Our games match up very well. We are really good ball-strikers and we think the same way,” said Horschel, who now owns five career wins.
“We work with the same stats guy. I don’t have to worry about him making a bad decision or a stupid decision out there because we sort of are in the same mode of the way we’re thinking about how to get around the golf course.”
Dufner and Perez, who entered Sunday tied for fifth with Horschel and Piercy, finished solo-second at 21-under par following a bogey-free 68.
“Duf played great all day. I didn’t really help him all this week too much. You know, it’s always nice to be in the mix to try to get a win,” said Perez.
“Billy and Scott just played phenomenal. Didn’t make any mistakes; made the saves they had to. We missed a couple putts.
“It’s a fun week. I love playing with Duf. You know, it was nice being there.”
Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel also signed for a clean 68 on Sunday, highlighted by four-straight birdies on Nos. 10-13.
“We were level and we felt like we played okay, you know, not really bad; just made a few putts. Nice one on 10 and 12, and, you know, hit it close on 13,” said Oosthuizen.
“But, you know, I think on Friday, to have this finish, I think we would both be really happy.”
The South African duo finished solo-third at 20-under par, one clear of England’s Tommy Fleetwood and Chris Paisley, who eagled the par-5 18th to jump into the top 5 alongside Chesson Hadley and Brice Garnett at 19-under par.
Overnight leaders Kevin Kisner and Scott Brown fell apart on Sunday, dropping from first all the way down to T15, following a final-round 5-over 77, which included two bogeys and a double on the final four holes.
"We both have put a lot of hard work in our game, it's nice to see the validation."
