Bryson DeChambeau is back! Maybe. We’ll see.
But the 8-time PGA Tour winner has entered the field at this week’s WGC-Dell Match Play Championship at Austin Country Club.
It would be DeChambeau’s first start on the Tour since his missed cut at the Farmers Insurance Open the last week of January.
DeChambeau has been dealing with lingering injuries to his left hand and left hip that forced him to withdraw from both his title defense at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the Players Championship.
In both instances, DeChambeau intimated that if required, he could have given both events a go, but with the major season right around the corning, he’d prefer to let his ailments heal fully rather than push it and potentially cost himself down the line.
