Bryson DeChambeau has figured out all of the angles.
Even the “Mad Scientist” of the PGA Tour couldn’t take credit for the incredible result of his tee shot on the par-3 6th hole on Friday. Playing just shy of 200 yards, DeChambeau launched a mid-iron into the sky and watched as it flew over the green and into the gallery.
However, before the camera could find the ball’s final resting spot, it spit back into view on the green and racing towards the cup. When it finally stopped, DeChambeau was left with a 6-foot putt for birdie.
Understanding that sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good, DeChambeau offered a consolatory signed glove and a big hug for the fan who the ball hit.

Unfortunately for the SMU product, the short birdie bid was not to be, but he tapped in for his three following a tee shot that likely didn’t deserve that kind of stress-free par.
