DeChambeau made a 12-foot birdie putt down the hill on the undulating 18th green to eliminate An who hit a superb flop shot for a short-sided position on the left of the 18th green. DeChambeau shot rounds of 69-67-66-71 to post 15-under par 273.
The former NCAA individual and U.S. Amateur Champ entered the final round with the first 54-hole lead of his PGA Tour career. DeChambeau had held four 36-hole leads previously, but had never converted any of them.

Tiger Woods entered the final round five shots back of the 54-hole lead, but a back nine 2-over par 38 erased any momentum he had gained by going out in 2-under par 34. He ended in a tie for 23rd place.

Dustin Johnson and Justin Thomas, who have recently swapped places as the first and second-ranked players in the world, finished in a five-way tie for eighth place alongside Rickie Fowler, Rory McIlroy and Patrick Rodgers.
Phil Mickelson, Hideki Matsuyama, Matt Kuchar, Louis Oosthuizen, Henrik Stenson and Tony Finau were among the 10 players who finished in a tie for 13th place.
For DeChambeau, it was his second PGA Tour victory, joining the John Deere Classic as his other Tour win. He picked up a $1,602,000 winner’s check and 500 FedEx Cup points.
