Golf can be a hard game, even for the pros. That thought can be a reassuring when you’re struggling on the course, but seeing a pro get humbled can really drive home that fact.
2009 U.S. Amateur champion Byeong-Hun An had struggling golfers all over the world empathizing with him on Sunday at the CJ Cup @ Nine Bridges. On the par-3 13th hole, An had gotten his score to 2-under par for the day despite opening the final round with a triple bogey. Faced with a tough lie just outside the bunker, An looked more like a 10 handicap than one of the best players in the world.

The whiff and chunk led to a second triple bogey on An’s card. He went on to shoot a final-round 73, 1-over par and finish in a tie for 11th place, five shots behind the winner, Justin Thomas.
